Dog House

Back in the car, I report the contents of the funny sign to Suzanne.
"Well, did you get any?" she asks.
"No," I respond.
I may need to get a 24-piece box.
Checking out at Steve's — getting the beer (Bell's Two Hearted Ale) en route to a pizza-and-beer "picnic" for friends confined to Meriter Hospital with their adorable 1-day-old boy — I see a little display of Gail Ambrosius chocolates. The sign says, if you need to make up with your spouse, get a 24-piece box. They also have 2's and 12's on offer.
