If Smaller Government Floats the Boat...

In the spirit of giving credit where due, Joe Malchow comments on today's Supreme Court decision barring capital punishment for juvenile criminals at Dartblog:
My argument has always been that no government ought to have the right to kill its citizens- except in war- but I suspect this ruling was based more on cruel and unusual punishment. Still, that seems to allow room for a broader cessation of capital punishment, which I think small-government Republicans should support.
I'd just add that it's an aspect of smaller goverment that merits bipartisan support.
