I had a Mac Clone! Loved it, while it lasted. Only ran OS 8 though. Aaahh...good to see that they made it through the crash.
With the processor on the separate card, you could keep those first-generation PCI Macs going nearly forever. I was going to try a G3 transplant and an OS X install on my old 7500 before it was sadly recycled this past summer (sniff)...
