Program Note

It so happens that I am so insanely busy at work that the usual (surprisingly time-consuming!) posting schedule has been disrupted in favor of the quick little shots to let you all know that I'm still kicking. I'm arranging for some guest-blogging to keep up appearances, but appreciate your patience in the meanwhile.

Actually, Ken, you are on my list of potential guest-bloggers.
Not that I wouldn't like to get Suzanne into blogging, of course, but I think her blogospheric presence so far is one comment at Phantom Scribbler's.

I would be honoured, but on your "slow" days, you still post 2-3x what I do on a "good" one.
Part of this is attributable to the decline in my productivity since my laptop died. The other part being that I (try to) live a boring life and haven't mastered uploading digital pictures yet.
Besides, I'm not certain you really want a rant about how horrible a piece of "research" "Roofs or Ceilings" was, or a Tyler Cowen parody posted on your site. And I don't want to ruin your reputation by discussing the economics of Neil Diamond albums.
You are fairly warned.

Ken, warnings are duly noted. My schedule will be under pressure for a while, so getting frequent contributions is less important than getting *some* posting-schedule smoothing. For that matter, it's fine with me if you cross-post to EQotD.
As for Tyler Cowen parodies, it depends on the quality of the parody :). I'm seeking what I think will end up being diverse guest-poster styles.
