Compassionate Conservatism? Oh-for-two.

It may be true that one "can't be wounded 'cause he's got no heart," but wounding is another question.
Tom Toles's cartoon today reconfirms that he is a Priceless National Treasure, but he miscites what part of Pharaoh was hardened (work-safe, obviously).

I think it's a deliberate mis-cite. Bush is notorious for not thinking with his head, but going with his emotions (though my memory is that he usually talks about his "gut" rather than his heart.
Yeah, I vote for play on words (and it's sad that it's taking me four days to read portions of my own blog). But there's something to a "got no heart" theory.
