That's fitting, as arguably the only Thompson legacy that's an unalloyed good is the network of relatively clean and modern restroom facilities along our major highways.
It is curious that the other blogging snarkers viewed Thompson's statement as 'hadta pee' rather than the less pleasant situation that your well-chosen post title picks up on.
